Check the wood periodically for signs of wear, such as fading, reduced water repellency, or areas that look dry or dull.

Clean the surface gently using low-pressure water and a soft brush. For more effective cleaning, you can use Exterior Soap, which is specifically designed for maintaining Rubio Monocoat-treated outdoor wood.
If the colour appears faded or the protective performance has diminished, the surface should be refreshed. After cleaning, you can reapply the RubioMonocoat exterior product originally used to restore both appearance and protection.
Outdoor wood is exposed to weather, moisture and biological growth throughout the year. A simple yearly inspection and cleaning routine helps preserve the finish, extend durability and keep the wood looking beautiful season after season.
