Exterior wood oils protect outdoor wood from weathering, UV exposure and moisture while colouring the surface in a natural-looking way. Rubio Monocoat products such as DuroGrit & WoodCream offer long-lasting protection in just one layer and help maintain the wood’s natural moisture balance and structure.
Our exterior wood oils require one, evenly distributed coat applied with a quality brush. Work in small sections, keep a wet edge and avoid direct sunlight or hot surfaces.
Never apply in direct sunlight, on very hot surfaces or when temperatures are below 10°C. Avoid rainy or humid weather, and ensure no rain is expected within the recommended drying window. High temperatures may require diluting WoodCream with WoodCream Softener to slow down drying and prevent overlaps.
